"The measurement of individual currencies will eventually dominate the way foreign exchange traders view the market. A Currency strength chart is the most important tool a trader can have. "

About Tom Yeomans…. How a Currency Meter was Born |

Tom was one of those kids that had to tear everything apart. It was no surprise to anyone who knew him as a child fixing televisions and blacking them out again with his Ham radio experiments that he went off to college in Toronto to learn to the art of reverse enginnering. Applying himself to electronics engineering and then computer programming, was a natural transition for him. Figuring out how things worked led Tom to teach others during the late 90’s and early part of the internet. He wrote 14 books and had a popular newsletter that aquired ten thousand fans around the world. His attention was sparked by the Forex Industry in 2003 while watching an infomercial. Bandwidth had just arrived to the average home and derivatives had arrived. He absorbed information both technical and fundamental and it wasn’t long before he spotted exploits and told a few of his newsletter readers. They told 2 friends and so on…. He was doing a double major as a Mentor showing crowds live predictions of the Forex market. True to his curious nature, he dug deeper into the industry and found dozens of exploits which he passed on to eager readers. Tom Yeomans led the way into correlations, arbitrage and spike trading using common sense fundamentals and down home common sense. In 2007 he astounded his students by making 64 winning trades in a row during a group trading contest. Just to put auto system results to shame he thought he would post a few examples of what real live person who knows the market can do. In 2004, Tom designed and programmed the worlds first Forex Currency Meter spreadsheet, to assist his personal trading.
Tinkerer by nature, Tom continued working on a special formula until he had the SST20 algorithm. Packaged with a new interface, the proprietary strength data staggered everyone involved in the business.

“Past performance is not indicative of future results”
A few years ago, I performed this winning streak in contest for my students using Oanda with 30-1 leverage. I was looking for consecutive wins, not necessarily profit.
Here is the spreadsheet showing details of all trades click here. All wins or break evens.

“Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particularly trading program.
